Join us for an unforgettable day of adventure and spiritual growth at Camp Kiesel! Our goal is to help our valiant boys create amazing memories while feeling the Spirit and growing closer to their Heavenly Father and the Savior. In the midst of splashing in rowboats and hitting targets at the range, we want to provide every child a chance to reflect on the Savior’s invitation to "walk with me."

Event Details

• Who: All Primary-aged boys (7–11) and their leaders.

• When: Thursday, June 4, 2026.

• Time: 6:30 am to 2:30 pm.

• Where: Meet at the Stake Center for opening exercises and prayer before we carpool to camp.

• Cost: The Stake will be covering the cost of the camp.

Activities

The boys will participate in a rotation of exciting dinosaur-themed activities hosted by the Camp Kiesel staff:

• Mosasaurus Lake: Rowboats

• Jurassic Marksman Center: BB Gun Range

• Raptor Range: Archery Range

• Lost World Adventure: Nature Trail

• Pterodactylus Pit: Gaga Ball

• Jurassic Dig Zone and the Dino Gear Trading Co.

What to Bring

• Footwear: Closed-toed shoes are required for safety.

• Protection: Please pack sunscreen and a hat.

• Hydration: Bring a water bottle (leaders will have extras just in case).

• Trading Post: You may send money with your child for the camp's trading post.

• Lunch: Wards will coordinate whether children should bring an individual sack lunch or if a ward-provided meal will be served.

For Parents: Logistics & Safety

• Arrival: Please be on time at the Stake Center at 6:30 am to ensure we can load cars and depart by 6:45 am.

• Supervision: We ask that leaders use the buddy system and keep a small first aid kit on hand throughout the day.

• Friends: Friends who live within the stake boundaries are welcome to attend!

• Pickup: We anticipate being back at the Stake Center by approximately 2:30 pm.

A Spiritual Note

We understand that between the BB guns and the rowboats, there isn't always much time for quiet reflection. We encourage you as parents to find ways to bring out the spiritual aspects of our theme, "Walk with Me" (Moses 6:34), both as you help your son prepare for camp and after he returns home.

Get ready to "Glow It Up" for an evening of light, laughter, and connection! We are thrilled to invite our older Valiant boys and their mothers (or an adult of choice) to a special night dedicated to strengthening bonds and creating bright memories together.

• Who: Specifically for boys aged 10 and 11 (born in 2015 or 2016) and their mothers or a chosen adult.

• When: Friday, June 5, 2026.

• Time: 6:00 pm.

• Where: Clearfield North Stake Center Gym.

What to Expect

• Theme: Neon Night!

• Attire: We encourage everyone to wear neon gear—white clothing also works great under the lights!

• Dining: A full dinner and dessert will be provided.

• Entertainment: The evening will feature high-energy dancing and various activities to follow the meal.

Important Information for Parents

• Food Allergies: If you or your son have specific food allergies, please let us know as soon as possible so we can adjust the menu accordingly.

• Bishopric Invitation: Members of the Bishopric are invited to attend; please RSVP so we can plan the catering and seating.
