The Clearfield Utah North Stake is pleased to announce a special priesthood campout to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Young Men organization of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This event will provide an opportunity for young men, their leaders, and fathers to gather in a spirit of camaraderie and reflection.
Event Details:
Dates: Friday, June 6th (3:00 PM check-in) to Saturday, June 7th (12:00 PM check-out), 2025
Location: East Canyon Reservoir, River Edge Group site, Morgan, Utah
Planned Activities:
The campout will feature a fireside program on Friday evening, offering a spiritual message and opportunity for connection. On Saturday morning, the stake will provide breakfast.
Participation:
We warmly invite all young men ages 11-18, Young Men leaders, and fathers to participate. Children under the age of 11 are welcome to attend but must be accompanied by their father or guardian.
Preparation:
Attendees are asked to bring their own camping equipment, transportation, and food for Friday. Please also bring a camp chair for the fireside and ensure you have an adequate supply of water. Note that restroom facilities are limited to outhouses, and there is no running water available at the site.
Safety Considerations:
For those who may be near the creek on the property, please be aware that leader supervision and the use of life jackets are required for safety.
